For future reference, it appears there are three FCPX plugins which do this: Seed De-Flicker ($25): BorisFX Flicker Fixer ($299, part of their Image Restoration package, not sure if it's available separately): Digital Anarchy Flicker Free ($150): I have all three, and the BorisFX and Digital Anarchy product work very well, almost miraculously.
